Rita's Story
Life
I had one child very early in life. Shortly after her birth I entered classes in Dental Assisting at Graff Vo-Tech. I worked in the dental field for approx. 10 years and then entered SMSU (part-time) and 14 years later (part-time evening college) I graduated from Drury College. In 1985 I left the dental field and began work in the accounting field and am still employed full-time in that field. During college I had my second child (17 years after the 1st child). s. I am married to a wonderful man who is currently enjoying his retirement. My oldest daughter is married and lives in Rogersville MO and my youngest daughter is in middle school.
School
I attended Home Heights grade school in St. Louis MO until 1967 when my family moved to Springfield MO. I entered Pershing Elementary and exited Pershing Jr. High. I attended Glendale High School and graduated in 1974. I enrolled at SMSU partime in the early 1980's and graduated from Drury College (University now) in 1996. I have a bachelor of science degree in accounting and business.
