Rita's Story
Graduated from Fairmount High School then married Daryl Bertelsen, fellow classmate. We farmed for seven years and after having four children and three crop failures in a row realized farming was not for us. After he graduated with a teaching degree from Moorhead State we moved to Montana where we lived one year in Belgrade then moved to Helena. d I divorced in 86 and in 88 I marrried Harvey DeMars. We became world travelers and enjoyed the combined families of nine children with spouses and 20 grandchildren. For 14 years now we have been spending the winters in Mesa, Arizona and the summers in Helena. Hard to believe 50 years has gone by already!!
I'm anxious to hear from you since most were classmates through ninth grade. My father was ill so I was unable to continue at St. Francis but have thought of you often and wondered about your lives.
