Rita's Story
Life
Life is good with Jim (35 years) and our two Briards, Tiki & Uzi. Our daughter, Cody Jane, is 26 and is expecting our first grandchild in November. We try to keep it simple.
For those of you who knew my family, there isn't much of us left. Daddy died in 1988. He had Alzheimers and I took care of him from 83-88. Momma had a small stroke in 83 and she had Lupus. She died in 98. We were quite the family unit. My brother, Eddie, died in 2004....Expand for more
My sister, Linda, and I are the only ones left. All our relatives from the generation before us are gone. We have a few cousins left but we seem to be an unproductive family who didn't reproduce much. The Matteson name ended with Eddie as he never had children. Linda and I each have one child. We have one first cousin, Chris, who lives locally. I think we are an endangered species. But life is good and we have each other. All for now...Rita
