Rob's Story

OK my story is this, got out of high school and got involved in several HARD rock bands until the dream of making it big time never happened. SO, feeling like I always had a knack for art and seeing in 3d I knew I would be good at styling hair so I became a salon owner/ operator for 17 years. While being a hair stylist and also being an extreme adrenaline junkie at the same time I cut off my big 1980's hair and worked very hard at becoming a state and regional aerobatic champion. After winning several of those I worked on proving to the FAA that I was a safe competent but crazy pilot in an entertaining way. I then moved on to puffing smoke out of a radical aerobatic airplane in front of thousands of people at airshows. Then while at the top of the world (in my own mind) and ,with a sponsor on the wing from an air parts company, September 11 2001 came and there went the airshow industry. Being very mad at the world for that I decided to hang up the 230 mph inverted with smoke "on" over the fence kind of flying, and got into doing the "bush pilot" thing. This let me fly into anywhere I had the marbles to land the airplane so I could do my hunting and fishing kind of thing were no man can go. Man I wish you all could see what I got it in and out of, you would have pooped yourself! Doing everything I could with several different kinds of airplane's and being a salon owner for 17 years I decided I would try something new again beca...Expand for more
use I just cant STOP! I just recently sold my salon and decided that I would just take it easy for awhile and let something else come into my life that gets me excited. Some of you feel the same I'm sure but I feel like I have gone through so much since high school I could write a book man. But this is only the halfway point and I feel like there is something else out there I'm going to grab and run with before my dirt nap. Just not sure what that is yet, I have always wonted to be a surviving professional artist.. Who knows man. My head is still spinning from all the recent changes. I just recently found this classmates thing and I'm very excited to maybe meet some of you guy's and gal's (I used to party hard with back in the day), and talk about the good times we had in high school. I know there are some of you guy's and gal's out there (that know who I am) would cry while laughing at some of the detailed thing's I remember we did. I've slowed down just a little bit now and I'm trying to learn how to be normal but it's hard. OK enough about me. Contact me and tell me your story who knows maybe I will find my next adventure right hear with some old buddy's. I already feel like I am after looking at all of the names on this list. Wow Its funny how just a name or a song on satellite radio's "hair nation" bring back old memories! Like you guy's I'm sure, I wish I could go back and do it all over again knowing what I know know now!!!
