Rob's Story
To anyone who would care to read my life; I was the quiet shy guy in high school who played an oboe from Junior High through High School. Most noted, I was the Drum Major of the Manchester Marching Lansers in 1974. I also was the principle oboest for the Richmond Youth Wind Ensemble. My mother is still trying to figure out why I joined and spent the next 26 years in the United States Air Force as an Air Force Security Policeman.
I retired from the Air Force in 2002, followed my bride back to Germany, built a home in Germany 20 minutes from Luxemburg and 30 minutes from Belgium. I work in the Middle East traveling Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Turkey, Germany, Kyrgyzstan and Jordan. I live in Doha, Qatar when not in Germany. culture and life style. I have now retired for good from Northrop Grumman.
My educational background turned out to be in Criminal justice with a dash of political science graduating from University of Maryland. I'm sure I could shell shock my teachers, especially Mr. George, my Geometry teacher at Manchester or Ms Traxcell, my English teacher at Meadowbrook. Over the years I have visited or lived in 21 countries spending only 8 years of my life on US soil since I was 21.
I love motorcycle riding. I love life, travel, good wine, and good company. I love anything history, and classical music, and dancing from foxtrot to two-stepping.
I now have Grand children to add as my greatest gifts from God. Still living life. We will see what tomorrow brings. My story so far,
