Rob's Story
After graduation I worked for a year in a factory in Rochester before spending a 20 year career in the Air Force. After retiring I stayed in the local area and continued to work in the defense industry as a contractor.
My spare time is filled with my many interests and hobbies.
First and foremost I love to spend quality time with my wife and enjoy all that the southeast has to offer. She is absolutely my #1 fan.
Towards the tail end of my AF career, I began a semi-pro career as a Bass player which I continued into civilian life. My passion kept me busy playing in the southeast just about every weekend. Since those days of loading in, sound check, play, load out then watching the sun rise at a Waffle House, I have slowed way down. Now I do occasional local fill in work and get together with friends for jam sessions.
My other interests/hobbies include golf, kayak fishing in the lake that's out my bac...Expand for more
k door, fly fishing in the north Georgia mountains, motorcycle rides in the fall, on calmer days taking the boat out in the bay for some "Reds" fishing and last but not least....stoking up the grill for something tasty.
I don't care much for TV but as an avid Bills fan that changes in the fall. However I do listen to a lot and a variety of music. When not listening to music I'm working on new material for a band our something for my own enjoyment.
Kids are grown and out on their own so we have replaced the commotion with fur kids...our dogs.
What a wonderful addition to our family. They never ask for the vehicle keys, never ask for a cell phone, and never ask to spot them a $20 bill. They will however take you down for what comes off the grill. They are just glad to see me come home from work everyday like they hadn't seen me in weeks.
All in all, I take life as it comes and try to keep it simple.
