Carpe Dium - Seize The Day GIVE a person a fish and they'll eat for a day. TEACH a person to fish and they'll eat for a lifetime. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength. Phil. 4; 13". More about Rob:"I was born and have lived most of my life in the Seattle area and I have the rust on my skin to prove it. After all, people in Seattle don't tan, we rust lol. I have three brothers and two sisters. My dad is self employed and my mom works hard taking care of the daily needs on the home front as well as being active in her church. I was born with a spinal birth defect called Spina Bifida and as a result, I get around in a wheelchair. Also due to a related complication when I was young, I lost most of my vision and I am legally blind but definitely NOT legally blonde lol. I mension this not because I want your sympathy or pity, far from it, but to give you a complete a picture of who and what I am. In spite of my physical challenges, I live a full, rewarding and productive life with many hopes and goals for my life. Oh did I mension that I'm a handsome SINGLE guy? lol ;-) During the 1970's and 1980's, I played wheelchair basketb...Expand for more
all and competed in wheelchair racing events on both the regional and national level. I competed in the National Wheelchair Games from 1982 through 1986, competing against the best wheelchair athletes in the nation and winning several metals in various track events. I've also participated in numorous marathons and 10K (kilometer) events throughout the Northwest. In 1990, I orgainized a fund raising event called Wheels Across Washington to benefit the local chapter of the Spina Bifida Association. During a ten day period in early June of 1990, me and other wheelchair athletes pushed our racing wheelchairs across Washington State, a distance of about 325 miles. After graduating from Queen Anne High School and attending Shoreline Cummunity College in Seattle where I earned my Associates Degree, I went on to attend Franciscan University in Steubenville in Ohio where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Communications. After earning my degree from Franciscan University, I returned to Seattle where I went to work in the video/audio production business. About three years ago, I made the decision to go into business for myself for two main reasons. One, I wanted more flexibility in my schedule and two, I wanted to have atleast the potential of earning a higher income. As far as my online businesses go, so far so good. I'm a kind and caring person and I try to be a good listener. One of the many things I've learned over the years is that a good conversationalist is someone who talks a little and listens alot. Others have described my personality as easy going and happy go lucky. I guess that's a good thing lol. As mensioned above, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and I am a sociable person and enjoy many activities. Oh, and did I mension that I'm a handsome SINGLE guy? Oh yah.....I guess I did lol ;-)".
