Rob's Story
I've done a lot since graduation. I've never been arrested. And mostly just worked, but I had a few occupations before finally finding one I llike enough , and will make me enough money to keep. After working in landscape, operating a backhoe, and working my way up the ladder in plumbing, I decided to try college when recovering from the last of my back surgeries.
I got my A.A. and transfered to major in political science. I also took some extra courses in history and writing/English. I'm done with college and have no desire to pursue a PhD., as I had once planned.
I've been doing a lot of political research, and I'm writing based on my research. I've written some articles and have the opportunity to write a lot more, but I'm also working on a book and want to spend most of my time...Expand for more
on that.
I still like to shoot. My favorite gun is a Ruger Redhawk--a stainless steel .44 Magnum with a 71/2" barrel. Shooting is a lot of fun. I have some other guns that are also fun to shoot, but I haven't been hunting in over twenty years.
I used to do a lot of bass fishing, but it's gotten really painful on my back. I've had 8 back surgeries, but they left me in constsant pain--which can be extreme. I get by with the treatment and meds I'm on. There are other problems that could be operated on, but I don't want to think about that now.
There are no mountains or beach out here, so I'll probably move back east in a few years or so.
I heard Guy Markin moved to Dallas where Martha and Melanie live.
I hope to hear from my friends/classmates. CLASS OF 84 RULES.
Later,
