Rob's Story
Rob is from Portland, Oregon. After graduating from Benson Polytechnic High School in 1977, Rob went on to Oregon State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science, Business Admnistration - Finance in 1981. Upon graduation Rob started working for Wausau Insurance Companies as a Commercial LInes Underwriter, first in Beaverton, OR and later Wausau, Wisconsin and Detroit, Michigan. In 1990, Rob joined a Commercial Insurance Brokerage in Detroit, now known as Aon Risk Services, and in 1992 moved back to Portland, OR to work for Aon in Portland until 2005, where he and 5 others moved to establish Crys...Expand for more

Rob is divorced and has 2 sons in college. He enjoys traveling with his long time girlfriend and enjoys a game of golf whenever possible.
Serving as the Chair of the Benson Polytechnic High School Alumni Association, Rob led the formation of the Benson Tech Foundation, a certified 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the Career Technical Education core classes and curriculum at Benson Tech. Rob is actively looking for Benson Alumni to get involved with the school which is now slated for a vote on a 2017 Bond Measure to Renovate the school!
