Robb Boscardin:

CLASS OF 1990
Scottsdale, AZ

Robb's Story

Life Many of my friends said I'd end up helping run an airline someday - and now I do! After graduation I started college, but quickly found that I wanted to jump in and get my feet wet, so I joined the airline industry. Starting in 1991 I began working for Continental Airlines, but in early 1992 I found a better opportunity working as a Reservations Sales Agent for Alaska Airlines in their Phoenix Reservations Center. Today, still with Alaska Airlines, I'm part of the management team with 35 direct reports, helping oversee a staff of nearly 300. For those of you in management, you know your job duties are always evolving and never easy - you're a manager, mentor, coach, crisis counselor, cheerleader, and you have to ...Expand for more
support your people in any way you can. I always thought I'd spend my time working as a pilot, but I find my career very rewarding - even in these troubled times all airlines find themselves in. These days my work hours also involve lots of traveling to and from meetings at our Corporate offices in Seattle. I've put in more butt-in-seat miles than I can count. Maybe I'll see you on a flight someday. My wife Jamie and I live in Scottsdale, love to travel (Mexico and the Caribbean, mostly) and spending time with family and good friends. When I'm not working, I'm usually playing guitar, enjoying a movie or catching up on some desperately-needed sleep. Drop me a line! I can be reached at robb.boscardin at alaskaair dot com.
