Life
Since Graduating from Millington HS I have:
*Attended Grace School of Nursing-Detroit, MI
*Attended Mott Community College (Flint Junior College)
*Graduated from U of M-Flint (BME)
*was the first African American to give credit report at Retailers Credit Bureau
*Been a USPS mail carrier (First African-American female to successfully bid for a route)
*Been an agent for Equitable Life Assurance Society of America, a national leader in two campaigns.
*Served on the Genesee Township Housing Commission.
*Served on the boards of non-profits: Common Concern, Chrysalis, The Ivy House and Psalms.
*Participated in WFUM fund drives as an on-air talent.
*Been a guest soloist with the Flint Symphony Orchestra: Gospel Fuse, October 1983
*Co-chaired/founded Gospel at the Crossroads.
*Served area churches as Organist/Director50 plus years.
*Founded M-LINK, a transfer assistance program from Mott Community College to the University of Michigan-Flint, in March 1990. This program serves as the prototype of many successful recruitment strategies used by the University today.
*Been diagnosed with breast cancer (August 1999). I am a survivor with a Patti LaBelle ATTITUDE.
*Served as Assistant Director Office of Admissions, 1990-2001

Family
My father and mother, Rev. and Mrs. Alvin (Rosa) Richardson, passed away in 1998 and 2000 respectively. My husband, George Grier, passed away in 1987. I birthed three children:
Rhea 1967. She is Married to Roy Greer and they have two children; Robert, 19 going on 60 and Jasmine, 13 going on at least 40. They live in Carrollton, Texas. Rhea received her BBA from Baker University an is an Senior Administrative Manager for a Fedex Subsidiary, and Roy works in security. They also have 2 of my grandogs, Foxy- a long haired chihuaha and Taco - a pomeranian
Audra1970. She is married to Jeffry Moore. Audra received her BBA from U of M-Flint and is ABD MSA in human resources from CMU, currently senior WIA Coordinator for Career Alliance. Jeffry is the Minister of Music for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Detroit, MI.
Isaac1975. He is divorced. Isaac received his BA in music from Xavier University of Louisiana and Master of Opera Studies from Manhattan School of Music. Watch for his career in opera to blossom. He is also the proud parent of my granddog TAZ, who is a miniature Doberman pinscher. They live in Freshwater, NY.
