Since graduating from MHS and completing 1 year at TCU in '87-'88 I decided to move to southern California to pursue my career in music. I spent 7 years paying my dues in the cabaret scene in San Diego, and made my acting debut in the Diversionary Theater production of "Street Theater: the story of Stonewall" by Doric Wilson. Just before my 26th birthday I moved to Los Angeles, where I soon was selected to sign with Men Out Loud (1996-2000) on Mercury (now Island/Polygram) records. We released one CD called "Sweet Enuf 2 Eat". I also got a side job at Gap for two years, overlapping the pop group. In 2000 I left the group and then Gap, then joined the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, where I enjoyed small appearances on HBO's "Six Feet Under", enjoyed many featured concert roles, and continue to tap into my keyboard skills and composing abilities. My life in So Cal was a mixed bag of performance and PARTY! haha ~ All of this is a far cry from the days of the MHS Chorale and Texas All-State Choir, but the experience is paying off!
