Robert's Story
Life
I spent about six years after HS working in the IT field. OS installs, network setup/admin, building computers and networks, R&D for Compaq, etc. I realized that I didn't want to spend my life with computers and enrolled at HBU where I spent a couple of years before heading over to UH Main. While at HBU I developed my writing skills as an English and Creative Writing major (Dr. Ulmer is the best). dge from my fav professor and lucky for me that I did as I met my wife. We were married in Richmond, TX on Aug 07, 2004. I was in charge of inventory auditing at Best Buy but lost my job when our entire dept was fired. In need of work and with my wife pregnant with our first child I decided it was time for drastic measures and joined the Army in March of 2005. Aside from being away from my beautiful wife and daughter (I have been in Iraq for the last 6 months) I actually enjoy the military and plan on staying.
