Robert's Story
I'm a self described modern day drifter. After graduation I joined the Marine Corps and did a tour in Vietnam as a security guard for an artillery base. When I came back I finished my enlistment on Project Transition where I worked for Gates Aviation in Palm Springs, CA as a lineman refueler and saw Robert Wagner, George Kennedy, Michael Landon, and, briefly at night, Elvis Presley among others. t didn't get hired and got a job with the State of Nevada as a truck driver. Did a short stint with the Southern Pacific Railroad before a layoff in 1988, owned a 7-11 for a couple of years, and moved up to Washington State for almost seven years before returning in 2015. Home is Nevada as the song says and I hope I'll be able to see some of you guys in the future. Take care and :"Go Wolfpack"! Just heard this morning about their amazing comeback against Perdue.
