Life
i've been in california my whole adult life (since 1984) after a year at the art institute of chicago. i live in both los angeles and san francisco. professionally i am a makeup artist in the entertainment industry. i stay young by surrounding myself with good people, liberal politics & activism, spirtual awareness, quasi-vegetarianism and good clean living. the most rewarding thing i have done is my involvment as camp counselor for kids with life-threatening illnesses, probably tied with rescuing seemingly scary dogs (pit bulls & rottweillers) and finding them safe, loving hom...Expand for more
es. i sell a painting every now and then, so i can still call myself an artist and hope to one day have an opening exhibiting the portraits of all of the interesting & amazing people i have met over the years, and captured on canvas. recently i gave up my low-tech lifestyle and joined this site, bought an mp3 player (zune 30gb)- and will hopefully be posting a website displaying my work as both a painter and celebrity makeup artist.
upon my arrival to hollywood back in 1985-86, i met annie lennox and to this day i am still starstruck by her (she signed my eurthymics cassette tape).
