Robert's Story
Not much of a story to tell. Left California in 1986 to move to St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Was there for several years, including going through Hurricane Hugo with friends and family. That was a life changing experience and taught me to value people and relationships over material things, because "stuff" can be taken away from you in an instant. My family lost several houses, but none of us were injured. Met up with an old friend a few years later and moved to be with her to Hamden, CT. We were married in 1993. We were blessed (sometimes cursed) with two daughters, Olivia and Ariana - now 13 and 15. We lost my first wife Fillie in a car accident in 2004. ok a rather interesting career change and attended Orlando Culinary Academy. I am now a Cordon Bleu trained Chef. Some of you remember my mom, Joyce. She passed just last November, the night before Thanksgiving. It is still hard, but getting better.
All in all, it has been an interesting ride. I am very fortunate to have been blessed with two wonderful wives, and my daughters are beautiful, talented and HUGE pains in the ass, but that is their job. So check the pictures I have posted and know I am happier than most, living comfortably and am surrounded by loving family and friends. We usually have room for a friend to visit and always have an extra place at the table...and, yes, your boy can cook his natural ass off!!!
Hit me up and we can exchange recipes and I am always willing to help with any cooking questions.
Peace
