Robert's Story
Well after High School I had a choice to make so I decided it was stupid to turn down a free college education so went on to College and played a sport i will always enjoy. In 1985 I married the love of my life Darla. 1n 1989 we had Meghan and In 1991 we had our second Kelsey.
After college I decided to do what has always come naturally to me; TALK, so I went into sales, and took a position selling Home videos for a company out of St Louis. I really enjoyed the work and the travel. I was offered a management position that required a move to Louisville,KY. I traveled the eastern U.S. and Puerto Rico managing the day to day sales of our 4 branches. It was a great time and I really enjoyed it. Stress can be fun if your on a beach lol.
I wanted to be home more since I now had 2 growing girls, so I joined into a pertnership with a long time customer who had just re-opened a small studio in LA. tle as well. However in 2001 we sold the company and its library to the Disney Companies.
We decided it was time to move back to Oklahoma and I retired.
After a year of absolute boredom I decided to try and work with my brother who was just going out on his own. We opened BHNC Services, LLC. a property inspection, Insurance evaluation and environmental services firm in 2001. We now have offices in Tulsa and OKC. With contracts nationwide. I remember now why I retired the last time, lol.
We now live north of Tulsa and my girls Kelsey and Meghan are both in college. Meghan is a sophmore at NSU and Kelsey starts UCO in the spring. Darla is still teaching 1st grade. We are ready to be empty nesters and have more time to travel for fun.
I enjoy working on my old cars and just traveling to car shows. I hope to work for a few more years and then just drive our hot rods off into the sunset and go see the rest of this country at our own pace!.
Hope to hear from all my friends from school its nice to see where everyone is and what they have done since they graduated.
