Robert's Story

B.S. Math and Computer Science Oregon State University. MFA in Creative Writing University of Montana. Ph.D in English University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I was an English professor at Kent State University in Ohio, then returned to Oregon after having twins. I owned a financial services company (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, insurance) in Astoria Oregon and taught some at the local college, as well as photographing (both for galleries ...Expand for more
and stock agencies). I moved to Silver City, New Mexico in 2019. I am enjoying 300+ days of sunshine, no traffic, 6000 foot elevation, and inexpensive housing prices. I own an art gallery in Silver City and work for a large non-profit, online university where I manage a team of 20 instructional designers, assessment developers, and instructional technologists. I like to drink good wine, listen to music, and travel as much as I can.
