Robert's Story
After high school I attended the U. of MD and graduated with a B.A. in education in 1979. During my time at MD I was an all- american in track & field. In 1980 I got married and returned to Scotch Plains, and taught P.E. at Orange high for two years. My son was born in late 1980. In 1982 I joined the Plainfield Police Dept. career I spent 5 years on the SWAT team, I did undercover work for 3 years. I spent the last 7 years of my career in charge of security for top county officals, elected officals and judges. My second son was born in 1988 and my daughter was born in 1991. I have two grandchildren, I retired in 2007, I live in Leonardtown, MD. I do part- time coaching and plan to start a new career in the private sector.
