I was born a poor black child... The End. Actually, I frittered away my 20's on cheap wine and loose women. After Rehab, a brief stint at Elmwood, and copious amounts of therapy, I got married at 29 1/2 (6 months short of the age I SWORE I'd wait to be before I did!). In my 30's, I had two kids; a girl, Lauren (pictured above) who is now fourteen (which officially makes me A BIG DORK for the last year and a half or so) and a Sophomore at Mitty, and Jack, a.k.a. "Mini-Me", which doesn't bode too well for HIS teen years, if Karma has anything to do with it! (I'm gearing up for my Valium addiction now...so much for all that rehab and therapy), since this means that he'll probably be a Class A Hellion in a scant few years. He's in 6th grade at St.Lucy...I figure, jeez, considering how I ended up, I should probably give something else a try for my kids, and a parochial school upbringing seemed just the thing to try to overcome the ne'er-do-well influences I am no doubt imparting on them! ';-)) After getting fired from my fourteenth restaurant, I gave running an Interpreting Agency a try for about 6 years in my 30's, then got suckered by Dave Martin (President, Westmont, Class of '79) into the Mortgage Loan business...which currently makes me officially as broke as I've ever been in my adult life (which begs the question: is anyone underwriting or providing grants for the 30-year-reunion entry fee? ';-)). Tell you what: I'll smuggle in and ply the person who volunteers to pay my way with signature Big Gnarly Bob cocktails...what sounds best? Mai-Tai's, Mojitos, Marg's, or Loaded-Arnold-Palmers?
