So, I guess I'm a late bloomer. I didn't get married until I was 41 and I didn't change a diaper until I was almost 44. Now, at almost 53, I have two kids, one in third grade and one in kindergarten. Some of you probably have grandchildren older than that. They're both boys, named Grant and Logan, and yes, they are named after streets in Denver, sort of. Also, when we were graduating high school, my wife was finishing up the fourth grade. Hmmm. But having a young wife and young kids must keep me young, too. It's hard to believe, I know, but according to my email inbox, large numbers of young women in my area are eager to meet me, and some of them want to give me free stuff. After TJ I lived in Boulder for 11 years, then I had a little duplex in the Washington Park neighborhood, which now is probably worth five times what I sold it for. In 1991 I moved to Seattle and I have lived here since. Seattle is a great city and there's not too much culture shock once you get over the climate. Denver...Expand for more
