Life
I now live in the Washington, DC suburbs with my wife (Susan). Our son, Philip is on his way to grad school in Atlanta of all places. We have a great dog--a collie/golden mix. On the weekends, if I don't have to work I still get out for a good hike, run, or bike ride somewhere in the National Capital area.

gher education (at UC Santa Cruz, University of Kentucky (a long story) and UC Berkeley(, I've ended up as a financial economist and policy wonk for the Federal govenment where I work on Federal bank, credit, lending and other policy matters. I have been deeply embroiled in the mortgage/foreclosure/real estate/banking/derivatives crisis and financial regulatory reform.
