Robert's Story
I am also known as "Bobby Cox" in the 1958 Senior Class. In June 1958, I joined the US Army and served 22 years in the Military Police and Criminal Investigation Division, retiring as a Warrant Officer July 1980. I then became employed as a Special Agent with the National Insurance Crime Bureau for 23 years, retiring again in 2003. til a granddaughter graduated high school. I became employed with the Azle Independent School District (AISD) in 2008 as part of their school security and my wife is a substitute teacher; we are both still employed at the Azle High School.
In addition I am active with the American Legion (Post 356 in Azle) serving as Post Adjutant for 7 years, as Past Post Commander and Past Adjutant of the American Legion First Division for three years.
Some day I might actually retire again!
