Robert's Story
After four years at Ball State, I entered into the Music Therapy field working at Larue D. Carter, and then Central State. At the latter, I burned out on working with the mentally ill and quit while at the top of my game. I did a couple of business sector jobs for three years and then went fully back into music performance with another very talented Tech grad- Randy Brown. nd stayed for 20 years! (We did have a year stint in a brand new hotel in midtown Manhattan in '90-'91, but returned to Orlando and the Peabody after 1 year. All along the way since going back into music, I had developed a taste for alchohol and gradually got to the point after 30 years, of needing recovery which I did nine years ago and remain clean and sober. I didn't lose much but was on the brink of screwing up my talent and ability on violin. Never married, always have preferred living alone, though I'm extremely sociable and outgoing. I own a home in Orlando and have three dachshunds and a very happy life. Enough of the I, I, I... how about you Tech grads?
