Robert's Story
Life
(1966) After graduating from PCSS, I spent 3 years of study at Ryerson in Nucleonics (electronics & physics) followed by a degree in Physics at U.of T. I started my career teaching at Humber College in 1969 in maths, electronics and physics & that career spanned 32 years with Humber. During that time I spent 2 years teaching on the Caribbean island of Montserrat, first doing some technical training for CIDA and most recently in 1997 teaching Cambridge University "A" level math and physics. Lots of fun trying to outrun the world's most dangerous volcano which erupted on a daily basis in the last few months on the island.
I presently live in the Cambridge with my wife Diane (50 yrs) and have 5 grandchildr...Expand for more
en (all adults now) and 5 great grandchildren that live within 10 minutes drive. I formally retired in 2001 from the classroom but recently have enjoyed some part-time teaching assignments both at Humber College and at Conestoga College in Kitchener.

From 2004 - 2007 did some engineering consulting work in the field of alternative energy systems at Green Grid Solutions in Waterloo and at FreeBreeze Energy Systems....solar & wind turbines as large as 1.3 Megawatts...had a ball riding the wave of this exciting technology.. still involved in ham radio as VE3IKM...hope everyone is thriving.....all the best....ve3ikm at gmail dot com....Bob
