Robert's Story
I'm Bob Evans. Although I graduated with the Class of '64, I didn't attend Everett that year. I was the guy that attended my senior year in England. I liked math (Mr Frank Rogers) and was the one who had a cloud chamber explode and sent the physic teacher (Mr Strickland) to the hospital. After graduation from HS I attended a year at Lansing Community College and then served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) for two years. Young University receiving and BS and MS in Physics before spending the next 35 years at a national laboratory in Idaho, where I met my wife and earned a PhD in engineering (that ought to surprise most of the teachers at Everett and give hope to some of the others out there that struggled through HS. We have 5 children spread out all over the country (coast to coast). After retirement, my wife and I are now serving another mission helping people find there ancestors. Life is great.
