Life
Born in Carlsbad, NM. Have lived in Charleston SC., Great Lakes MI.,San Pedro and Santa Monica CA. Some of the best years of my life were when we lived in El Paso, Texas from '68-71. Went to Magoffin school between '68-71. Lived on Knox Ct. Dad was in the Navy and moved midyear '71 to California. Best friends in California were Keith Lockie and Larry Frantz. Keith and I played on the Navy All-Star team. Best friends in El Paso were Mike Atwood ) Mike and Keith were the two best pitchers I ever caught ) and Burt Chenoweth. 0). Mr. Hicks was our coach. Played our games at Tobin Park. Used to go to Iciban's store after school almost everyday. Mrs. Burroughs was my music teacher. Other names I remember from El Paso are Mike and Bill Word, Blaine Sparks, David Lopez, Randy Riddle and the Brown kids that lived across from us. I remember watching the 1969 World Series while in Mrs. Greene's class. We then moved to Guam then back to the states. Set roots in Greenwood Arkansas in February of 74. Graduated in 1977. Still live and work in the area. I am married with two girls and enjoy cycling, sailing, volleyball, soccer, working with kids at the Boy's and Girl's clubs.
