Robert's Story
My Work Life
Robert has spent the better part of 20 years managing large-scale resort communities, most recently as the general manager for Sun City Vistoso in Tucson, Arizona. With a background in construction and heavy equipment operation, he combined a degree in business and finance, and years of service to various communities to become a national leader in community association management, finances, operations and successful board operations.
Robert owns and operates The Felix Reserve Group; a company committed to the analysis and development of professional reserve studies for large-scale, condominium, resort and time-share communities across the nation.

ing practices, leadership development, strategic planning, and expert witness testimony.
Robert teaches and speaks extensively around the country for the Community Associations Institute, National Council on Senior Housing, The Urban Land Institute and a variety of local CAI chapters and specific educational requests. He was recognized in 1999 and 2006 as CAIs Educator of the Year for his teaching in the Professional Management Development Program and continues to expand the educational field for managers and community leaders.
He serves as a commissioner on the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers, serves on numerous national committees and task forces for the CAI, Chairs the Item Writing Task Force for NBC-CAM, and has authored numerous articles in local and national publications.
