Robert (Bob)'s Story
Following a three year tour of duty as an Army Infantry Officer I entered the world of corporate security management. Seven years later I left the corporate world and went into Law Enforcement. Fast forward 25 years to 2002. After working for the Simi Valley Police Department as a Patrol Officer and Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, Public Information Officer and Crime Prevention Specialist (and other assignments) I retired and commenced my new life as an Independent Security Consultant.
My firm (Robert A. Gardner, CPP) is based in Santa Paula, CA at the airport. I also have offices in Sacramento, CA, Las Vegas, NV, and Scottsdale, AZ. My time is divided between giving security management advice to businesses and government agencies and providing ...Expand for more
forensic security consulting and expert witness services to attorneys and the courts. Although I live in Ventura County, much of my working time is spent in the desert - primarily in Las Vegas where I own a second home. I also spend time working in Sacramento, the Central Valley, and the Bay Area with occasional trips to Scottsdale. I am licensed as a Security Consultant in NV; as a Private Investigator in CA, NV & AZ and as a Private Patrol Operator in CA & NV.
I love to fly and until recently owned an Enstrom 280 FX helicopter that I kept at Santa Paula Airport. I have now replaced the helicopter with a Cavalon Gyroplane. My newest toy is a Meridian 368 Motor Yacht that I keep at Ventura Harbor.
I am a widower with one daughter and a cat.
