Jovi (my wife of many years), Zion, Liel (pronounced lee-ell), and I live in Valley Cottage, NY and I am Professor of Religion at Manhattan College. I like playing with my children, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling (though I gave this up for my wife'...Expand for more

I teach and do research on the relationship between religion and science, and have published two books (Apocalyptic AI: Visions of Heaven in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Virtual Reality; and Virtually Sacred: Myth and Meaning in World of Warcraft and Second Life). I lived in Bangalore, India for five months in 2012-13 and am writing a new book about that.
