Hello folks, Wow! Hasn't time flown by quickly? After graduation, I joined the Marines in "65 and "graduated" at Parris Island, SC. From there, my Military Occupational Specialty was Military Intelligence. Yeh, I know, an oxymoron and "I never knew you were that intelligent". I've heard many responses, that's for sure. From there, I was stationed in El Toro, CA, Chu Lai/Danang, Vietnam, and then, my last year at the Marine Barracks in good ole Broomstick, ME. What a treat that was! I married in '68 and have a daughter, Lauri, who unfortunately developed a kidney disease and received a donated kidney from her mother in '84. Knock on wood, her "new" kidney is still working. Close to a record. As things go, the marriage didn't last. After leaving the Marine Corps, I became a Federal Protective Officer, assigned to the U.S. Courthouse in Portland. After three years, I became a Special Agent with the National Marine Fisheries Service(NOAA) in '74 located primarily in Portland.
