Bob's Story
I have lived in Maryland since I graduated from SUNY at Geneseo. I worked for Baltimore County Public Schools for 30 years as a teacher and as an administrator for the last 19 years. I retired to open up a used car dealeship in Harve de Grace. Md. and I still doing this until the fun stops. I'm married with 3 children. 4 grand kids and hard to believe 1 great grandchild!! We have lived on the Chesapeake Bay for 30 years and while it is not Long Island it is pretty. We had our home washed away in a topical storm in 2003 so we rebuilt up in the air!...Expand for more
! We spend alot of time at our house in Ocean City Md.. Unlike Long Island the ocean is not minutes away but a 3 hour drive "down the shore" as native Marylanders describe the trip to the beach. Its worth the trip. I get to Long Island to fish with my brother Chuck, Steve Riordan, and recently Danny Brach most years at Montauk and Orient Point. It is always great to visit Long Island. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that high graduation occurred 50 years ago! How did that happen to such a young person as me?? You too?????
