Robert's Story
Life
Hey all,
Can't wait for the next reunion. Is there still going to be plans to get all the 80's classes together?
More to come as always!
Love and God bless always,
Rob
School
High School was definitely an experience I will never forget. I had to do some growing up, which was not easy. If I could turn back time, these three things I would do:
1. Asked L.K. out when I had the chance instead of finding out about it almost 20 years later.
2. Worked a job to buy a car instead of depending on Kenny Darosa, Randy Kron, or Louis Aquino for rides.**LOL**
3. Thanking Nick Dillis, Rick Arucan, and Michael Zugnoni for opening my eyes about Social Studies. Mark Baccharini for being a great Band teacher. Carl Bosque for making me strive to be the best. And Jack Brooks for kicking my ass when I needed it the most.
College
Here I thought the journey ended with me getting my Bachelor of Science degree. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Education Adminstration and ...Expand for more
Supervision. That's what happens when you get power and money hungry at an old age. Are we having fun yet?
**LOL**
Damn, I finally graduate on 7 August 2006. I started another Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Will this thing finally end? Stay tuned and enjoy the ride as I have no choice in the matter. **LOL**
Workplace
I am currently teaching Emotionally Disabled students at an elementary school in Phoenix, AZ. It's been pure pleasure and pain all in the same day. Luckily there is such a thing as a gym to work out those frustrations.
Military
Al Pacino in the movie "Scent Of A Woman" had word that will always describe my military life:
"HOO-AH!"
Seven years of dedication to my country, bouncing from place to place, spending incredible days and nights in Seoul, Seattle, San Antonio, and Atlanta. But most of all, getting through it alive and one piece. It was an amazing experience, and one that I will never forget.
PS: God Bless Pat Tillman.
