Life I have to say that much of memories seem to be a blur these days. But I have had a chance to talk to a few classmates and relive some of the old days. I am still in Douala Cameroon and still like it. I will have been here for a three and ½ years in May 20008. I expect to receive a new assignment soon, and finally leave Cameroon in June or July. There are many modern things about Douala, fine restaurants, great friends,and lots of wine and Champagne. The country of Cameroon is 8th worldwide for the consumption of Champagne! I have been in the US Foreign Service (State Department) for about sixteen years and expect to retire 2012, which is beginning to seem close now. But working in the Foreign service has been a dream come true for me, living oversea's, and traveling world wide. Since 1991, I have lived in Lome, Togo, Abidjan, Cote I'vore, and Cairo Egypt and Port au Prince, Haiti. I am hoping my new assignment will take me to Europe or Asia.
