Robert's Story
After high school I had all of three weeks before I found myself in boot camp as an Air Force recruit. During my initial training it was decided I would be a firefighter and that turned out to be a very interesting choice. I would say a good choice since it has kept me in shape and healthy!

life or death situations has a way of marking you and tends to change your perspective of the world around you. Not always for the worse but also not always when your ready for it either.
After the Air Force I found a job as a civilian firefighter and I am looking forward to retirement before age 50. Times may be tough but there is always a light at the other end.....
