good day one and all......Here I am watching the 21st century begin and wonder why I ever made any progress with out the tools and toys of this century. I served in Vietnam, went to college for a BS Degree, enforced the law, was a Special Agent for the D&RGW RR Co., then became a Locomotive Engineer. While doing all of the above I never stopped writing poems. A few are not bad at all. I never did find that special someone but came to a realization that in order to love anyone one has to start on self. I awake with a smile each morning and find fun and adventure each day. er than my devotion to duty. Duty can come in many forms. I feel that I have done, but not yet finished, what forms of duty I envision. I do not hang posters anymore in the halls or publish underground newspapers. My biggest suprise in life is how many people seem to be unhappy. Happiness has to start inside and many try to find it on the outside. If I had to do something differently I would smile more and say hello to strangers. Being shy until I was 35 made me miss a lot of life. Anyway who ever is reading this I wish you a happy moment and hope that when I meet you a smile will be the first thing that you encounter.rht
