Sherry's Story
Life
After leaving Los Altos HS in 1970, moving to SF Bay area, my life changed forever; I left my soul mate, Jim, behind, and met different people, had a new set of different issues. So in 1972, I moved to Arkansas to begin over with my favorite relative, my dad. Well, that proved to be untimely at best. Dad had his own issues to deal with;a jealous wife and a spoiled son. So I met and married Cliff, divorced in 1976. We created two daughters, a doctor and a lawyer. or of Arts degree and pursued a California teaching credential and later a Masters in Education and Reading Specialist. During this time, I managed to find time to remarry to a wonderful man and we produced a handsome son, computer-tech programmer. We own a trucking & storage company. As of May, 2006, my husband died of a massive heart attack, leaving me a widow. I quit teaching and now run our trucking company.
College
College was great! I sometimes think that I am a college addict. Every year I look for another class to take or challenge to pursue.
