Robert's Story
Moved from Wheeler AFB back to Pensacola FL, December 1977. Finished High School at Escambia , graduated and moved with my Dad and brother, David, to Houston in June 1979.
Lived in Houston, TX from June 1979 till August 2007... was moved to the Denver area in August 2007 by FirstBank, but have moved on in 01/2021 to Motion Industries.
I've been in DP/MIS/IS/IT since I graduated from High School. I've been working on IBM mainframes pretty much the entire time, dabbled in VMware/virtualiztion and storag...Expand for more
e on Open Systems for a few years before moving back to mainframes. I've worked on all mainframe operating systems from DOS/SP to z/VSE, from VM/HPO to z/VM and zLinux, from MVS/SP to z/OS... from a Computer Operator to Operations Supervisor, from a Sr. Systems Programmer to a Senior Analyst, then to a Systems Admin working w/ AWS. I've now moved back to being a Sr. Systems Programmer, the job I love to do.
I have two daughters and a son from two marriages... still married to my second wife, Sherri.
