Robert's Story
Life
Married Marsha Smith in '66. Joined Navy that same year (see military history this page). First son, Robert, born 67. Second son, Rick, born 69. Left Navy in 76 and went to work as Production Mgr for our family busiess, Leon Kelley's Nursery, Inc., in Clarcona, just south of Apopka, Fl. Made a career change in '96, after we closed the business. Since that time I've been working as a telephone service technician for Sprint/Embarq, in the Kissimmee-St Cloud area. tion and I am treasurer of my union local (CWA local 3176). In recent years we've gotten interested in geneology, since finding Marsha's biological family in '93 (she is the youngest of 12, and we've managed to find all but one brother. The family was split apart in '47, with the children being dispursed to different homes). Marsha and I Have lived in Hunter's Creek since 2002, after having lived in Clarcona since leaving the Navy in 1976.Our son, Richard, made us first time grandparents (grandson, Noah) in February, 2001. Our older son, Robert and his wife, Janet, made us grandparents again in October of that same year (grand daughter, Morgan).
