Life
Married in 1978. Went to U of W and then to Western for B.Ed. Moved out west in 1980. Worked for Env. and Transport Canada. Also taught for 6 years at Arctic College in the NWT. Came back to Ont. 1990 with Env. Canada. Transferred to Corrections Canada in 1993. For the last 19 years I have been Principal/teacher at Beaver Creek Institution in Gravenhurst (federal minimum prison) as well as Fenbrook Institution (medium prison). 's qualifications. (don't think any of my FHCI teachers would believe it). My wife Nancy and I are in the process of moving back to Kitchener as she will be starting shortly as the Warden of GVI. Our son is 27 was married in September. He is a correctional officer at Fenbrook Institution. I still golf and curl lots. It will be strange moving back to Kitchener after leaving over 30 years ago but we are looking forward to it and seeing some friends from the past. Update, moved to Kitchener in June. Drive by FHCI everyday on the way to work.
