ing as an individual, pushing myself to the limit, being recognized for being a top scholar, interviewing for jobs across the entire country, working internships far from home, and in general becoming independent. College was the most exciting time of my life up to that point. Workplace I designed mainframe CPUs for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY, from 1988 to 1994. I transferred to IBM Austin, TX, in 1994 and designed workstation memory controllers until 2000. In 2000, I joined Cirrus Logic to design USB attached PC peripherals. In 2002 I joined Infotronic America and designed graphics controllers there. I then moved to Intel in 2008 and worked on their ATOM SOCs. From there I moved to Samsung SARC in 2011 where I designed GPUs that went into high end smart phones and tablets. In 2015, I rejoined IBM in Austin to design Power CPUs. In 2017, I returned to Samsung to again design high end smartphone GPUs. From 2019 to 2021, I joined the startup Tactual Labs to design gesture detecting FPGAs. Most recently, I've joined BAE Systems to design Avionics FPGAs. I have always been an ASIC/FPGA chip designer throughout.
