Robert's Story
So here it is...Joined the army shortly after graduating high school. I spent four years in Germany (1986-1990) as a nuclear, biological and chemical specialist. I met my wife Gerlinde in Germany where my only daughter Stephany was born. I fulfilled my obligation and moved to Seattle. In 2014 Gerlinde succumbed to ovarian cancer. It was a very tough time...As things go, I moved on and met Elizabeth a year or so later. We made plans to get very aggressive financially so we could retire early and travel the world. vid we retired on my fifty sixth birthday. We sold everything to pursue our dream of travelling. Since then, we Have done allot of travelling in Central and South America. We also spent considerable time in Southeast Asia. The last few months we have been housesitting for some very nice people and places. In April we will start the second leg of our worldwide travelling foray. Going to Africa and then on to the land down under. Looking forward to that! way too cold in this part of the world...love warmth and ocean beaches! peace out fellow classmates!
