Robert's Story

Happily married to Andrea, 3 daughters all living in NYC, and 5 grandchildren. Andrea is a retired psychotherapist (no surprise probably) , an excellent "jumper", and still publishes articles in equestrian publications. My daughters are very successful, one is an attorney who writes for TV (current series filming this summer), another PhD in Arabic studies, and youngest is a writer who got her masters from NYU. After high school, I went to GW undergrad, and U of M medical school, and trained at Sinai in Ob/Gyn. I delivered some of my classmates babies when I practiced in Baltimore, and spent a lot of my professional time doing research in contraceptive hormones. My career track changed when I joined Kaiser in the early 90's, and had management training. We left Baltimore and moved to Colorado in 2001 when I became Chief Medical Officer BCBS in Denver. Loved Denver, made lifelong friends, and enjoyed skiing. I have worked for a number of insurance and technology companies since leaving BlueCross. If you remember me, I was certainly not a cowboy, but we enjoyed living on a large farm in Columbia SC with 3 horses and a donkey for 6 happy years, and now split our time between Florida's west coast and Manhattan. At Milford I played violin, and was actually a lead in one of our musical comedies. Still sing and play folk music on my guitars. I hope everyone is well, and often think back to how our years in high school have shaped my live and persona. My professional Board of Directors bio below, if you are curious. I am confident that many of our classmates have been successful contributors to society.
