Robert's Story
Life
I seem to have been a nomad all my life. I was born in England but came to the States as an infant. I spent the early part of my youth living in Warner Robins, Georgia, then moving to Okinawa, Japan, in 1969 at the tender age of 7. We retunred to the States a couple of years later, living in Las Vegas, Nevada. We eventually returned to Georgia in 1973 only to make the move up to Michigan after the death of my grandfather in 1974; I lived in Berkley, Southfield and Bloomfield Hills.
The moving would continue as I joined the Air Force in December 1980, eventually retiring in April 2005. We moved to Virginia in the summer of 2000 which is now the place where I have lived the longest.
