Robert's Story
After discharge from Airforce, Strategic Air Command, I joined the Wheeling Police Dept. and retired in 1983. Since then I've been an registered Ohio and West Virginia softball and volleyball offical. My main concern are my grandchildren. I have a granddaughter, Faith, who was inducted into the National Honors Society her senior year and in Who's Who All-American Scholar since 2008. My other granddaughter's name is Kylie who is very active in her church and is expected to be a leader at the age of 14. Other than an Honorable Discharge, I have degrees from Belmont Tech and West Liberty, now a University.
I lost my wife of 35 years April 1, 2014, although we were together for 40 years, she is the one in a black dress. The one in the middle is Faith info above but since then graduated with 4.+ which she held since 5th grade, she is a member of the National Honor Society and is finishing her first year at WVU. randdaughter is in 8th grade and will graduate from St. Clairsville and is the opposite of Faith.
After my wife passed I felt there would be no one else in my life but the Keeper of the Stars had more for me to do. I have found classmates that I haven't seen in or had contact with in 60 years and it is amazing what we have in common. Along with numerous like and dislikes, her grandson lived in a dorm just across the street from Faith, my granddaughter at WVU I don't know how or why but I do believe that the Keeper of the Stars has more living to do before the end. Meeting up with June has made life worth living again and I hope we have many years to spend together.
Kylie Baldwin, my granddaughter, went to Columbus April 25-26 with a church group to compete in a Fine Arts program and won. Their theme was a Human Movie that will take them to the National in August this is the their only first they had, so good luck.
Faith has since grduated from WVU with honors . She was in her juniior year when inducted into the All Americsn Colligaaate Scolars.
