Robert's Story
After graduation in 1968, I left Dubuque and moved to Madison, WI. I worked selling stereo equipment and sewing machines for about 6 years. Tired of getting nowhere fast, I joined the Navy in 1975 and retired in 1995.
I had a great career in the Navy serving as a Hospital Corpsman, Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Teacher, and Medical Rcruiter.

I am married for the last 32 years and have 4 children. I spend my free time writing. I published my first book of poetry in 2005 and am slowly working on completion of another.
When I decide to call it quits, my new home will be in North Carolina close to the mountains and NASCAR.
