Robert's Story
After high school, I continued my education and obtained several college degrees. I became a police officer in Philadelphia in 1981 and left that job in 1990 after a serious off-duty automobile accident which occured in 1988. In 1980 I met my wife and after dating for a few years, in 1984 I married Lisa. We presently live in the Pine Valley section of northeast Philly and have been together ever since. Lisa and I both received our Juris Doctorates in 1989 from Temple University's School of Law and passed both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars. Since 1990, I have worked as an attorney and have my own practice. I primarily do trial work, representing individuals in both criminal and civil matters. rumpet both professionally and for fun but don't keep up with the horn anymore. Music helped with my college education (paying bills and getting me scholarships) but wasn't quite enough for me. Currently I am very active helping to establish non-profit organizations and I volunteer a great deal of my time with German Shepherd Rescue of Southeastern PA, and Akita Rescue of Western New York. I provide a variety of legal services for indigent individuals as well. As I get older, one thing I still have going for me is a good memory and I never forget where I came from, although I really don't know where I might be heading.
I now look back on my high school days as a bitter-sweet time, filled with both happy AND sad memories. I've matured a bit since then and, although I no longer miss those days, would love to hear from my friends from Frankford and learn about how you all are doing. Please write.
