robert's Story
I never graduated in'69 like I was supposed to. I quit/was permanently expelled and got my GED 1970(?). I enrolled in McHenry Comm. College and discovered I really enjoyed school. After recieving an AA in Business Admin.,I moved to Phoenix with my new wife,former Jennifer Eberhardt. I kept pretty busy raising a family (3 children), working full time, and attending ASU. I eventually realized Marketing Research wasn't what I wanted to do; I enjoyed working with my hands. I started a business desinging, fabricating,& installing electronic process eguip. 8 yrs. later I was forced to file bankruptcy (poor choices on who to trust),went through a rough divorce and decided to "start over". e country and had the best life I could imagine. In 1999 I got hurt (permanently) at work & in 2000 my wife suddenly passed on. My ex passed away shortly afterwards and now my kids keep me pretty busy, them and my grandkids. I'm quite a bit different from 1969. I became a Christian, put away all(?) my bad habits, became more tolerant,less angry, more aware of the vageries of life. Currently living in Apache Junction, AZ, prettiest state in the lower 48. I like going through old mines, camping,hiking, rock hounding, traveling,off-roading, reading, working on old cars &/or trucks. Family keeps me busy.My younger sister keeps me returning to Il. on the pretense of helping her remodel her house.I don't particularily like Il., but it's a chance to visit family.Things over-all are going well.
