Robert's Story
Amazingly, after all these years of looking, I found my Harding class yearbook hidden away in a closet. I must admit I looked a little younger back in 1963 and a few pounds lighter but I'm still alive and kicking. I am anxious to see if my memory is as vivid as I currently think it is. After viewing our yearbook these many years later, I'm beginning to think it is not. I do remember some of our more exotic teachers such as "Buggy Bob" Johnson - biology, and Dora "Dynamite" Dunn - chemistry but many of our classmate faces are a very vague and distant memory. The one person from my past whom I would like to see is Sue Hatch. I cannot remember who she is, and I cannot find her photo in the yearbook. She signed my yearbook saying she has "never met or talked to me in class" but wished me all the luck in my future, hmmm... Oh, also, Brigitte Warfelmann, my lost love, she was a transfer from Austria. Does anyone remember her and what happened to her? ndle old acquaintances and hopefully jog my memory. Life has been good to me over the years as I hope yours has been. After spending four years in the U.S. Air Force, obtaining a free trip to southeast Asia, courtesy of the government, I attended the U of M. I graduated in 1979 - B.A. Continuing at the U of M becoming certified as a chemical dependency counselor. My life's work remained with my air force training in electronics, however. Working in the computer industry for 38 years and retiring in 2006 from Lockheed Martin. I have travelled extensively for both work and pleasure and I am currently living in Eagan. I have four beautiful adult children with, as of this writing, no grand kids. You may remember me as a bashful late bloomer -- still am, and my kids are following in my footsteps. I hope you, your loved ones, and families, have experienced the fruitful bounty and blessings as I have been fortunate to experience and hope it continues, for all of us, far into the future. I hope to see you in 2013.
