Robert's Story
I feel very blessed to have grown up on Grosse Ile. An ideal place at the time. I left at age 19 to serve in Idaho for two years as a missionary. Then returned to school at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.(now BYU-Idaho) There I finished pre-chiropractic studies and met my wife, Claudia. We moved to Davenport, Iowa where I studied for 3 1/2 years and graduated as a doctor of Chiropractic. I have lived in Colorado ever since. We have 5 children by birth, raised my older brothers son after his passing away, and have taken care of over 40 foster children. I have been active as a Kiwanian for many years and in the Boy Scout organization. I serve in church regularly and have for all my life.

ning hair. I have completed 2 triathalons as well but gave that up as well. Presently I work out somewhat regularly, love to garden and work around the yard. I like to fix things and have some rental properties to keep me happy in that regard. Occasionaly, I enjoy wood carving, wood burning and very rarely...painting. The mountains are very near, and I get away regularly for short hikes and contemplative moments. I have really enjoyed fishing the past 4-5 years and especially enjoy fly fishing now.
Remarkably my wife has stayed with me for nearly 27 years. Many that knew me would suggest that any woman willing to put up with my insessant teasing and clowning around would be a saint. i would agree. Ha ha.
I hope that gives you a little glipse of my interesting life. It certainly has been an adventure.
